Buying used mowers
Mowers are tools used in gardening or agriculture to mow crops such as grass or grain. The word 'mowing' is derived from the definition ground level, ground level indicates the surface of a property.
Types of mowers
Mowers are used in different places. See below the different types of mowers and where you can best use them:
Lawn:
- Reel mower/blade mower

A cyclocutter is attached to a tractor and driven by a PTO shaft or is self-propelled. There are rotating blades along the drum for cutting grass.
Verge:
- Windrow mower
Can mow high up and does not have to deal with obstacles. A squeegee cutter chops up the vegetation using rotating squeegees or rotating steel cylinders. An advantage of the folding mower is that it is less likely to break if it hits a piece of stone.
- brushcutter
The brushcutter is used in places that are difficult to reach, such as along poles. The brushcutter is also called a trimmer. The machine is carried and is often seen at municipalities.
Grain:
- combine harvester
An agricultural machine used for cutting and threshing seed crops such as rape, grass and grain. A combine harvester is equipped with a reel, auger, threshing drum, sieves, cutter bar and cutting board.
