DAF XF
The largest and most common cab variant in DAF tractors is the XF. The XF is available with engine power ranging between 410 and 530 HP. Eindhoven has chosen to deliver the XF in three cab variants, but it is not available as a day cab like the CF. With the XF, you can choose from a single sleeper cab with a low roof, a space cab, or the extremely spacious super space cab.

DAF XF chassis
Thanks to the use of high-quality steel, the chassis of the DAF XF is both strong and light. The tractor unit's rear axle is suspended with a Stablink construction. The chassis' low weight means that it consumes less fuel and can carry more load, allowing it to transport goods more efficiently. The Stablink construction provides rolling stability and higher payload.
The clever layout of the chassis components allows space for attaching support legs, large fuel tanks (with a capacity of up to 1,500 liters) or pump systems.
DAF XF engines
The DAF XF is powered by the multi-torque PACCAR MX-11 and MX-13 engines. The PACCAR MX-11 has different engines from 299 hp to 449 hp, the PACCAR MX-13 from 428 hp to 530 hp. The innovations allow these engines to deliver more pulling power at lower revs, making them more fuel efficient.
Both engines are available in EURO 6 and 5 versions. The PACCAR mx-13 is also available in EURO 3 versions. The difference between the versions has to do with the exhaust aftertreatment system.
